Toledo Wooden Boat Show
About the Show
This event has grown to be one of the highlights of the summer for Toledo and Yaquina Bay Yacht Club as well. There are lots of wooden boats proudly displayed by their builders or current owners and rides available on many of them open to the public. In addition, there is a cardboard boat building competition ending in a race across the lagoon. In past years the musical entertainment has blossomed into one of the best offerings, this year featuring Portland's Terry Robb playing his virtuoso blues guitar, and Curtis Selgado, another of the northwest" premiere blues players. The Yacht Club will be helping with the free family boating, row boats, kayaks, and small sailboats will be available to the public to cruise around the lagoon. We'll also have t-shirts and other gear available for purchase.
