Consider joining our club, boat ownership is not necessary! Benefits of membership include reciprocal rights at many yacht clubs around the world, discounts on clubhouse use, free entry for weeknight sailboat racing, invitation to all the Club’s social activities and volunteer opportunities, and use of selected club sail and power boats. We sponsor a County-wide High School Sailing Team. Members also receive a monthly newsletter regarding club events, but most of all our members enjoy sharing their time with each other and other boaters.
YBYC membership is $335 per year for all persons in your household, or $280 for an individual membership, both subject to a one-time $100 initiation fee. We also have memberships available for Students, Active Military, and Crew Members.

Membership Policy
Initiation and yearly fees must be paid prior to voting new member(s) into the club. New members joining mid-year will pay a prorated amount for annual fees. Please contact membership chair for an exact figure before submitting fees. Those with lapsed memberships will be considered “new members” if wanting to rejoin the Club (i.e., will need to pay Initiation Fees as a new member.)
Members receive membership cards, name tags (stored at club), membership roster, information on use of clubhouse, YBYC operating procedures and a copy of the bylaws. They are also added to the newsletter distribution list. The membership chairperson ensures that new members are welcomed to the club and are provided with these items. Communication is primarily handled via email and web based groups.
