The YBYC racing season Ends with our fall Regatta held In early October each year. This is a celebration of fall featuring racing, camaraderie, and great food. It's a great way to end the season right, by getting out on the water, honing your skills, and having fun with friends and family.
You are cordially invited to participate in the YBYC Fall Regatta. This Notice of Race includes racing information and an entry form which can be mailed to YBYC along with payment. A credit card payment option, with small convenience fee, is available for this event on the YBYC website and signed entry forms can be e-mailed to the race chair. Regatta
Racing will take place October 11 and 12, 2025 on Yaquina Bay, Newport, Oregon. If 7 or more races are sailed a vessel's worst score will be excluded from her series score, otherwise all races will count and there will be no discards. It will be governed by the Unites States Sailing Association’s “The Racing Rules of Sailing 2021-2024” including US Sailing Prescriptions and scored using the low point scoring system. Fall Regatta is open to centerboard boats, keel boats, catamarans and One-Design fleets which establish a class.

Club Youth Sailors are those under 18 years old that are members in good standing at a yacht club. Payment and entry can be mailed to Yaquina Bay Yacht Club. One dinner and one t-shirt will be included with the entry fee (except for youth sailors). Additional dinner tickets and t-shirts will be available for purchase either on the website in advance (much preferred) or at the event.
